SS Racing's Mitch Fellows has another quality ride at Shobdon.
With overnight heavy rain i was expecting to see a mudbath at Downton Farm Shobdon, so i packed the family's wellies coats Husky flags etc and off we went to watch Mitch.
Arriving at the track bathed in glorious sunshine we had just missed his first outing ( which he finished 2nd in ) so we set off to get ice creams and sweets and get a good vantage point for the 2nd race.
The start of the second race saw Mitch gate in the top 5 and as they went out of sight over the back he was pushing for 4th, the leaders apeared again with Mitch now in 3rd but pushing hard for second. He had a hard time passing the second place rider and when he finaly got past, the leader had long gone, it was a hard fought race on a track that was now roughing up pretty bad so another second place was great.
The 3rd and final race was the decider with Mitch tied on points with another rider and the 3rd placed rider was just 1 point behind them. The start was another top 5 for Mitch but his 2 rivals were 1st and 2nd and pulling away fast, he picked his way through into 3rd but with a massive gap to second he had alot of ground to make up. At the flag Mitch had closed the gap to about 5 seconds but 3rd was a real good ride.
2nd, 2nd and 3rd gave Mitch 3rd overall so all in all a consistant day with no dramas and the Husqvarna TC 250 sounded awesome!!!
